Frequently asked questions
Is Mont-Saint-Michel possible in one day from the Le Havre cruise port?
Yes, but it is a very long day. Plan about three hours of driving each way and about three to four hours at the Mont. It works best when your ship stays in port for most of the day. Send us your ship's times and we tell you honestly if it fits.
How far is Mont-Saint-Michel from Le Havre?
About 270 km, so roughly three hours each way by road. Times depend on traffic.
Will we be back before the ship leaves?
Yes. We build the day around your ship's schedule with a safety margin, and we follow it all day. If your ship is late, message us on WhatsApp and we adjust. If the day cannot fit safely, we tell you before you book.
How much does a private Mont-Saint-Michel excursion from Le Havre cost?
From €990 per vehicle, not per person. It covers the Mercedes, the driver, fuel, tolls, parking and water on board. Lunch and the abbey entry fee are extra. A Sprinter van for larger groups is quoted on request.
Is the driver a guide?
No. Your driver is a professional English-speaking driver, not a licensed guide. For a guided visit of the abbey, local guides are available on site.
How much time do we have at Mont-Saint-Michel?
About three to four hours, depending on traffic and your ship's schedule. It is enough to climb to the abbey, walk the ramparts and have a quick lunch in the village.
Is it a private tour or shared with others?
It is 100% private. Your vehicle, your driver, your day. You leave the port as soon as you are ready.
Is there an easier option if our port stay is short?
Yes. The D-Day beaches or Honfleur and Rouen are closer to the port and leave you more relaxed time. We help you choose the day that fits your ship.
