Normandy is about two and a half hours from Paris, and the sites are spread along a wide stretch of coast. The cliffs and the smaller memorials are hard to reach without a car. With your own driver, you decide how long to stay at each place.
Some guests spend an hour at the American Cemetery and say very little. Others want to walk Omaha Beach for a long time. Both are fine. If you travel with someone who served, or who lost a relative here, tell us when you book and we will slow the day down.
What is included in your D-Day tour
A full-day private excursion of about 12 hours, because Normandy is far from Paris. Plan about 2.5 to 3 hours of driving each way.
Private Mercedes vehicle. Air-conditioned and spacious. Choose a Mercedes Vito (up to 8 guests), a Mercedes V-Class business van (up to 7 guests) or a Mercedes Sprinter (16 to 23 guests). Your group only, no strangers.

Audio guide. We give you our own audio guide for the main sites, so you hear the story as you visit. A local guide can be arranged for an extra fee.

Normandy D-Day tour, the full day

Add Pointe du Hoc, Utah Beach or Arromanches
There is no fixed route. On request, we can swap in Pointe du Hoc, where American Rangers climbed the cliffs under fire, Utah Beach, the Canadian Cemetery at Bény-sur-Mer, the Airborne Museum at Sainte-Mère-Église, or Arromanches, where pieces of the artificial harbor are still visible in the water. Price
From €750 per vehicle, not per person. The price covers the Mercedes, the driver, hotel pick-up and drop-off anywhere in Paris, fuel, tolls, parking and water on board. Child seats are available on request. Museum entry fees and lunch are not included. Your driver is not a licensed guide, so we can arrange a local guide if you would like one. A larger group travels in a Mercedes Sprinter van, quoted on request. If you need more than 12 hours, extra time is €58 per hour for a Vito or V-Class.

Is there an entry fee for the American Cemetery?
No. Entry to the Normandy American Cemetery is free. Museums such as the one in Bayeux charge an entrance fee.
